Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Baltimore Humane Society. Our volunteers provide a wide variety of services and directly support our life-saving programs. Baltimore Humane Society is committed to protecting animals throughout our community and seeks the support of caring individuals to help us achieve our mission.
Volunteering is a easy! All you need to do is register with our site, login, and select the capacities in which you wish to volunteer. Baltimore Humane Society has a number of different ways to volunteer, like our own Dogtown, Cat Care Crew or SMAC Pack. Please take a moment to read some of the FAQ's to the right. Keep in mind that Baltimore Humane Society is an education and animal center. While we recognize that interaction with animals is both good for the pets and educational for the people, it is not without its risks. Our motto is simple... safety first! If you want to work hands on with the pets, we're going to ask you to go through just a bit of training. If you're not interested in hands on work, no problem... we have a lot of other activities that might be a good fit with you.
