We want your pet to be protected from infectious diseases!
For Dogs... We require proof of up-to-date rabies, distemper vaccinations, and heartworm testing and the appropriate prevention. If your dog has not had these, they will be performed at the time of surgery. We strongly recommend, but do not require, that your dog receive a "kennel cough" vaccine before his or her spay/neuter appointment. Our Wellness Center can provide this service.
For Cats... We require proof of up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations and a FeLV/FIV test within the last 2 months. If your cat has not had these, they will be done at the time of surgery. Heartworm, flea and tick preventatives, dewormers, ear mite and tapeworm treatments may also be purchased for your pet. Surgical pricing includes injectable pain medications at the time of surgery and oral pain medication to go home with your pet.
