Spay/Neuter Information Print E-mail

Here at the Baltimore Humane Society, we are committed to ending euthanasia due to overpopulation.  Our Robert P. Wagers Spay/Neuter Center offers a subsidized, high quality, high volume spay/neuter service targeting low income pet owners and animal caretakers.  We do this through the generosity of private donors, and receive no public funds or support.

Appointments

Surgery is performed by appointment only. Please read our guidelines before applying, as not every pet qualifies for our services.

There are three ways you may contact us and schedule an appointment:

1. By phone. You may call our office at 410-833-4480 between the hours of 9am and 4pm Monday thru Friday. Expect the call to take between 5 and 10 minutes, as we need to ask you several questions about your pet.  Please be prepared to take notes on pre-surgical requirements and instructions;  we want your pet's experience to be a stress-free and safe as possible, and that starts with a few simple actions on your part.

2. By mail/fax. You may click the link below to download an application (one application per pet).  Please read carefully, fill out and return to us by mail or fax. Once your application has been received, a representative will call you to schedule an appointment.

3. Email. If you still have questions, please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

As a non-profit organization, we are able to offer spay/neuter services at a reduced cost thanks to the generosity of donors. You are welcome to support us with an additional contribution of your own.

Please note: we provide vaccination and testing services only to dogs and cats who are being spayed or neutered at our facility. We do not provide any testing or vaccination services to any other animals. If your animal needs other veterinary services, including routine vaccinations, please see your veterinarian.
